Speaker placement
A helpfull first guideline of speakerplacement. Now every room is different so you always need to experiment. But here are three simple guidelines to start with!
Speakers need to be as far apart from each other as you are from them.
Speakers need to be at least 60 cm away from your backwall.
Make sure that the distance between the side and the backwall are unequal.
This way you ensure the most accurate response. After this you can decide in what way you can improve the acoustics of the room.
Or when you have acoustic measurements of your room to begin with you can also calculate where the best place is to put your speakers based on the first reflections of the problem frequencies in your room.
